Acadian Baptist Center presents Outdoor Adventure Camp (O.A.C.) for grades 6-8 from June 8, 2009, to June 11, 2009. O.A.C. will include lessons about animals, basic archery, compass skills, map-reading skills, and more. The kids will be shown the connection between God, Jesus and the outdoors. We will have times of swimming and other camp activities. This camp is limited to the first 30 boy and girl campers who register by June 5, 2009. The total cost per camper is $200.00. Pink Ribbon Club Breast Cancer Support group. Meets at 5:30 pm in the Cabrini Cancer Center. This is an ongoing support group which meets the third Thursday of each month. This group is sponsored by CHRISTUS Cabrini Cancer Center and all breast cancer survivors are welcome with no cost. Each month features an educational topic and the group focuses on cancer wellness, community advocacy, and support of each other at all stages of the journey.
