Jim Shaddix, Pastor of Riverside Baptist Church in Denver, CO, will be the key note speaker and serve as worship leader for the conference. Shaddix is host of “Hope for Today” radio broadcast and author of “The Passion-Driven Sermon.”
On Monday night there will be a special time of worship beginning at 7:15 p.m. in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church Pineville. Music will be provided by Louisiana College’s group, Voices. This service is free and open to the community.

Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. This course will begin with the reasons why employees commit fraud and the “red flags” that indicate that further investigation is needed. It will cover each of the major types of fraud and the policies and procedures that should be implemented to prevent them at each level of management and at the committee and full board levels. The course will also cover auditor selection, the type of services that should be obtained from an auditor, questions that auditors should be asked, specific audit procedures that should be requested and ways in which audit cost can be minimized. Finally, the course will cover the ways that boards should document compliance with their fiduciary duty.
